fun weekend

well, I'm glad the weekend is over, it was fun but very tiring. We did alot this weekend starting out with doing nothing on Saturday except resting up from the long week of bus driving and visiting with my Mom and Dad. then Sunday, we dropped off the goats at their new home. It took us a hour and a half to get there. Justin, Joey and Kevin and I all crammed into the small white car with the two goats in a dog crate in the back. We got there and Cookie was sick so her good natured Husband came out, showed us around, tried to give us some ducks (which we said no to) and then we passed on the goats. When we left Joey burst into tears because his goat friends were gone. He has such a hard time with loss. Even when it's planned like that. Kevin saved the day when we were out shopping. I stayed in the car with Justin while Kevin and Joey scoped out some stores for a seat for the bus when Kevin spotted a set of Joeys new favorite toys. He bought him the set for his help with the goats and Joey cheered right up after that calling Kevin his favorite guy lol After alot more stores looking for the perfect things for the bus we got home late, ate dinner and fell into bed 2 hours later. Oh and I also forgot to say that when we came home Sunday, we found the bathroom door open and the baby squirell gone. I was quite upset and looked for him for a long time but I'm guessing that one of the cats found him and well, you know the end of that story. :-( Monday was Labor day and I wasn't allowing Kevin to do any labor since his back was still bothering him from all the bus driving. Justin enjoyed flooding the bathroom that morning making the water run through the kitchen celing which was something he hadn't done in a long time. We went to the Francestown Labor day festival in the afternoon, met up with the whole fam damily and enjoyed the parade and all the junk sales. we of course, came home with a few goodies and stopped at the local yard sale to get a couple boat pillows for the canoe and then called it a day at hoem with frozen pizza. Justin went home that evening bored as usual here at his second home. He will be back on Friday for another visit. well, that was the whole busy weekend, I'm glad it's over and life is calmed down a bit again.
