I finally made it to number two on the Lost game ARG and that's where I will stay. I made a promise to BadNumber ( the number 1 person ) that I wouldn't boot him out of that spot since he helped me out so much with the game. It was said in the last email from Hans that the games would be done on Oct. 7th so lets hope that this ARG gets off to a good start after this long winded beginning. Oh and I called Hans today and left him a message since his phone number was left in the source code of the email. Didn't everyone call him ?
~Tomorrow, Joey has a school field trip but since he was at his Fathers house the week the permission slips came out, I won't get to go with him. Then tonight his father called to tell Joey he wants to make sure Joey wore pants without holes. We don't want others to see Joey in holey pants while out with his father lol Joey asked for money for the gift shop and his father told him he would give him twenty dollars if he made sure not to wear pants with holes. Both Kevin and I were so tempted to just give him a twenty and then make sure he wore holey jeans. We didn't want Joey to be the one that was punished for our humor so we will pass on that one. But it was good for a laugh anyway !! Every other week on Thursday night as I put Joey to bed, I cry because I realize that he now goes to his fathers for a whole week. People told me it would get easier as time went on but they are so wrong. How can it be easy to not see your son for 26 weeks out of the year ? I hope who ever thought up this new kind of custody has to do it them self- that would be only fair !
~Life is so disjointed now. I spend a week getting Joey up for school, waiting for him to come home, helping him with his home work, having his friends over, playing talking and hugging. then Friday comes, he leaves for school and then the week without him starts. Its too quiet without him here. No kids to listen to playing and watching cartoons just silence. I hate it !!
~ I got the chicken pen done finally so now they are playing in the chicken yard running around after bugs and playing as only chickens can do. I'm wondering when Kevin will notice that it's done lol One more big thing done that needed to be done before the snow flies ! First frost tonight so it's going to be a coooollllllddddd winter !

Congrats on the ARG ranking, even though I don't know what that is! I'm sorry to hear about your custody arrangements - I don't think it's the best thing for a kid but nobody listens to me, anyway. :( How sad you must be, while he's gone! I wish I had some sort of fabulous suggestion, but I really don't. You're obviously a good mom, though, so hang in there!
By the way, I'll second melissa - come by anytime - we're right around the corner, right? :)

My advice is to make the most of the time you have and don't let the disappointment show to him. I learned a trick from my sister. A child (people in general, ok maybe dogs also) should see how happy you are to see them, they gage their happiness on your expression. So no matter what I'm doing, when I first see my daughter after even a brief separation (like when I get home from work) I stop and smile a huge smile and say hello and tell her I’ve missed her! She was born in Hawaii so I usually say Aloha. It's our thing and the smile let's her know how important she is to me. Try it! It really makes you feel good, kind of like being a Labrador Retriever for a moment! Always so happy to see everyone!
