first anniversary wonderful weekend !

Kevin told me he had been saving for our anniversary which I forgot about. He had been saving because when he gets his pay check, he signs it and then hands it to me so he's been putting aside his coffee money and what ever is left after a weekend excursion. I melted !! He is so sweet !! We had Joey that weekend so we decided to go and ride on the cog railway but when we got there we found it was full of leaf peepers and there were no rides left for the day. Joey had asked to go to Maine So off we went to find a place in Maine. Kevin said he wanted to take me to a place on the beach where we could watch the water from the hotel room at night and listen to the waves. After we cruised around enjoying the sights, we found a beautiful hotel on the water in Booth Bay Harbor. We had a wonderful dinner of seafood yummies and enjoyed the night listening to the waves. The next day we went to the neat Maritime Museum, checked out all the great stuff in the Museum and then took a wonderful cruise in the harbor checking out the seals and bald eagles. We saw three Bald Eagles at their nesting site which was awesome to see and the seals were really neat too since I didn't even know their were seals in the east. What a fabulous weekend with my two favorite men. Kevin is always surprising me with his kindness and love. It's so nice to see there are still knights in shining armor out there for us women to find. Joey loved the trip and was very tired after all the sight seeing.
