So I poured a bunch of resin last night for fun and the thrill of it all and I was so disappointed this afternoon when I went to take it out of the molds. Resin is very finicky, it likes dry weather, and warmth. Well, it's been rainy this week and I forgot all about that bit of trouble. Silly me. So I poured a order I have and also some other things since I always have left over resin and now things are rubbery and sticky. I can fix the sticky but the rubbery is no good. Oh sometimes I hate resin. It's a true love hate relationship for sure. Here are some of the things I made. Here's hoping they get hard and are usable. I would hate to throw them out.
On another note.... I was feeling so down today when I finally realized that 3 years ago this week my son was hit by a car. I finally gave up on trying to pull off the happy face and got busy keeping my self doing things all day to keep my brain busy and not thinking. James.. I miss you tons.~Mom

I was blog-surfing when I found this post. I'm sorry, that is such a sad thing.
I am so sorry, hon. I don't have any good words of advice but we're all thinking of you.
Lisa - I have been thinking of James this week - as always. I'm sorry that May is not a time of joy but a time of sad remembering. I miss him too - so much.
On a happier note - I absolutely LOVE the resin butterflies and bugs. They are so nice and you really ought to make a ton more of these for your Etsy shop!
