Always tell people you love them

no matter how long it's been or what's going on in your life, you always need to remember to let your friends and family know that your thinking of them with a card, a call and a hug. It can be too late sometimes and you won't get that second chance. Today I got that dreaded call. I thought the caller was a salesman and thought he said that he had some good news for me. what he said was he had some bad news. Then he paused and I said well speak... He said Minor died this week, I had to make him repeat it three times because I was confused at who he was and when I figured it out, I was more confused at why he would be telling me my best friend died. that can't happen, she is too young- just 41 He said she had been sick this past year and then when his son got the flu, she caught it from him and passed away from it. I was one of the few that called her Nancy, I hated to call her by her nick name Minor, I thought it was silly. She tried to get me to change it, I refused. Nancy was there for me when I became single, she found me a lawyer when mine gave me the run around. then when James was hit by a car, she and her husband to be- made sure I could go be with my son before he passed away. She opened a jewelry shop and made sure I had a flexible job that fit in with my weird custody arrangement. She brought me food when I was broke, a shoulder to cry on when James died a friend always there for me. I will miss her forever. Nancy, I love you, Lisa

I'm so sorry, Lisa. She was a good friend to you. No one deserves that. How awful. :(
